Signing Ceremony for Colorado HB 07-1281 and SB 07-100

HB 07-1281 doubles Colorado's renewable energy portfolio standard and includes all rural electric cooperatives, while SB 07-100 helps enhance the ability of Colorado's investor-owned utilities to build new transmission to "energy resources zones" more quickly, providing current cost recovery for new transmission investments.

These two important bills were signed into law by Colorado Governor Bill Ritter in a ceremony at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory's National Wind Technology Center on 27 March 2007.
